7 WEEKS OLD

Well, we are in the final stretch of puppy bliss for us & nearing the end of your long wait.... So bittersweet! The pups continue to do great as they grow & change into little playful bundles of energy, each with their own sweet personality.  They LOVE to play outside... chasing June, chasing each other, chasing leaves, and chasing the wind! Once again, the best pictures can be captured during sleepy time... Enjoy!

6 WEEKS OLD

Sorry for the one day delay! I know you are all anxious to see their 6wk update! They are growing like crazy and are too big & squirmy to fit on our puppy scale for current weights! They are super active now and love getting to play outside when it is warm & dry enough. They are no longer contained in their whelping box, so they are enjoying having lots of space to run around and play in their indoor/outdoor enclosure. They quickly got the hang of the doggy door and are doing pretty well going potty in the outside enclosure then coming inside to sleep & eat. They are still nursing some, but are mostly weaned and love their kibble! Any pictures I took of them awake turned out blurry because they are in constant motion, but after a couple minutes they tire out & crash hard so that's when I got the best pics. Hope you enjoy!

4 WEEKS OLD

Well, the puppies are already one month old! They continue to amaze us each day as they develop more and more into little individuals with sweet and inquisitive personalities. They all love to be held and come to the edge of the whelping box to greet us when we are nearby. We are now able to take them out of the whelping box for short "play dates" and they also began the gradual weaning process, so we get to watch them dive into their gruel (mixture of milk replacer and dog food), both of which are great fun! Here are their updated pictures and weights from today... (Keep in mind the pictures don't do them justice... They are WAY cuter in person!

Three Weeks Old

Today the puppies are three weeks old and they move around so much it is getting harder to take their picture! I placed the egg carton next to them to use for size comparison, because it was the nearest object I could find that is mostly universal. I will post their pics in corresponding order to last week.
